Last year as an office, it’s fair to say we’ve become an active bunch. So in the light of this, we’ve decided to challenge ourselves to an 80 day world tour. The challenge will run alongside a fundraising campaign in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and of course this will be supported by our social media channels.
The idea is that our staff will track any type of (moving) physical activity. It doesn’t matter if they run, row, ride or gallop their way around the world the mileage will all count. We’re aiming by the 19th May – which just so happens to be Bike to Work Day – to get as far around the world as possible. We’ll be making stops at the Berlin Wall, The Coliseum in Rome and even the Great Wall of China. We’ve set ourselves an initial target of getting to the Pyramids of GIza, a massive total of 5199 miles.
We’ll be keeping you all updated with our progress and our team will be using the hashtag #SE80DAYS to share all of their videos and photos, so keep an eye out on our Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin pages for the latest updates.
